With the Venetian fete fast approaching we need volunteers for lots of jobs.
Our 2024 float theme is Ancient Olympus
Jobs available before event:
Float building.
Our float base is available from 9am 18th August. We will need people for the 18th, 19th and 20th to complete this.
Making cardboard/paper mache medals
Gold, silver and bronze lightweight large medals.
Making paper roses
x lots!
Building a winners podium
(must take the weight of humans)
Sewing/donating fabric for grey togas
(I have made 3 already, and have enough fabric for 2 more) If you have any old grey sheets for me to sew would be great! We need minimum 10.
Please let me know if I can allocate any of these jobs to you.

We have been collecting recycling so have lots of cardboard available, and already have the majority of the materials for the float. All we need is:
polystyrene adhesive
grey acrylic paint - lots of it!
