The message below is from Shepway Sports Trus t:
Shepway Sports Trust has been asked for some urgent help in recruiting some volunteers to assist with marshalling the new Covid19 Vaccination Centre at the Civic Centre, Folkestone which is opening with immediate effect. This will involve marshalling the cars and people attending for vaccination.
The centre will be operational 12hrs per day, 7 days per week and will be vaccinating our community against this dreadful virus that has changed our lives so much. The sooner we can get the community vaccinated the sooner we can protect lives and all return to a normal way of life once more. Shifts will be of 4hr duration and assistance no matter how small will be hugely appreciated.
If any of your club members, friends or family would like to volunteer in this effort in fighting COVID19 please email Joe Sullivan of the Channel Rotary Club directly: sullijoe@gmail.com . Joe is responsible for co-ordinating the volunteers on behalf of the Channel Rotary.
