Hope you are now getting back into playing again post Covid restrictions.
The Squash/Racketball section has a busy few months ahead off the back of the exciting Exhibition Match which took place on the 11th September between former World No.1 Nick Matthew and former World No. 9 Daryl Selby. They professionals also coached juniors/seniors and played matches against members. They hope to return next year so please look out for dates.
If you wish to enter the October Leagues please let Mel know in the next couple of days.
We have a junior event taking place on the afternoon of Saturday 9th October. This will see Hythe Juniors against teams from other local clubs. We apologise to those who may wish to play on this afternoon but the courts will be out of action between 2.45pm to 6.30pm.
On Saturday 30th October we have a graded tournament at the club which will feature some of the top Hythe players in B and C grade matches against visitors. The club will be open all day for spectators.
On the weekend of the 28th and 29th November, we have a Professional Squash Association Tournament that will feature players with a world ranking. It is hope this will include a number of players in the world top 100. There should be some great matches over the weekend and again, spectators are welcome.
We certainly think there should be some exciting squash at these events which will be supplemented by a return to team squash which we will inform you of once confirmed.
