Squash Court Booking Rules
- Members may book courts 14 days prior from 7am (eg. from 7am on Monday you can book a court for Monday in two weeks).
- Off-Peak Members may only book and use the courts at off-peak times.
- Members may reserve courts free of charge, however, members will need to use the light-meters in order to switch-on the court lights @ £6 per 45 minutes. Please note exact change is required for the light meters.
- Peak / Off-Peak times:
- Peak times are Monday to Friday from 4 pm onwards.
- All other times are off-peak.
- Check-in / No-Show policy
- The member who booked the court is required to check-in to confirm court usage within 1 hour prior to the reserved start time (or within 1 hour after playing).
- Any selected playing partner/opponent may also check-in to confirm court usage on behalf of the member who booked the court.
- The system will automatically assume a "no-show" if the court remains booked but with no check-in to confirm court usage.
- On the first occasion, there is no penalty for the "no-show".
- Thereafter, the member who booked the court will be charged a £3 no-show penalty.
- On each occasion, the system sends an email notification at 10am on the day following the no-show with a reminder to check-in next time.
- Please note you will need to know your system PIN to check-in on the touch screen "kiosk" system next to the courts. You can look-up your PIN when logged into the website, or use the Forgotten Password process.
- These charges only apply for peak-time bookings.
- Late-Cancellation policy
- When unable to use a reserved court, members should cancel as soon as possible so that the court may be used by other members.
- No charge when cancelled more than 48 hours prior to start time.
- When cancelled with 48 hours prior to start time:
- There is no charge on the first occasion.
- £3 late-cancellation fee on all subsequent occasions, however, this late-cancellation fee is automatically refunded if the same court is rebooked.
- Members with outstanding no-show or late-cancellation fees must top-up their booking system accounts with an online credit/debit card transaction prior to booking more courts.
