The summer Handicap tournament got under way yesterday, and over two and a half hours the handicaps were honed and there were some excellent matches.
First on-court Mark Archer left footprints on the walls as he refused to be overwhelmed by John Good and at the other end of the evening Glynn Goff and Lee Divers match was an example of what this event is about. In between Tom McCorkindale was finally overwhelmed by Michael Galvin. Although this only was Tom’s third competitive match. We also saw Sean on court with Racketball novice Dave Wilson, and Emma Walton stomp over Julian Belcher.
We now move on to the team matches.
Today (Wednesday) sees the Incontinents take on the Impotents @ 6.15

Then on Friday the teams meet up with the winners from Wednesday and Thursday playing each other, whilst the losing teams try to avoid the wooden spoon.
Please arrive in good time to support your team and also remember to buy your opponent a drink after your match. There will be a short briefing at about 6.10pm
