Cafe@TheGrove Staff
Initially 2 hours per week, 10am - 12noon on Sundays during cricket season.
Hourly rate - the National Living Wage based on age.
Are you friendly, reliable and available on most Sunday mornings during the summer? We are looking for staff able to open and set up the bar area, serve tea/coffee, soft drinks and snacks, and offer a warm welcome to families and visitors. No experience (or cooking!) required, and full training is provided. You need to be confident, with good communication skills, and able to work independently.
The role does not involve serving alcohol, but requires access to our licensed bar area, so applicants must be 18 or over.
If you are a parent, grandparent or family member who comes to junior squash or cricket training most weeks, why not join our team?

Marketing & Communications Officer
7 hours per week - very flexible working hours.
£17.50 per hour. 12 month contract.
Are you organised, proactive, able to write in a warm, friendly style, create basic marketing materials (using Canva or similar) and confident using social media?
We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Officer to manage our website, social media and sponsorship/fundraising platforms to engage more people in playing our sports, better communicate with club members, and market our facilities for sport and wellbeing purposes.
All of our digital platforms are very easy to learn. If you have great communication skills, an ability to engage people of all ages in conversation about their sport, and a passion for promoting sport, we'd love to hear from you.
