Apologies for the guidance regarding the continuing restrictions for playing squash/racketball and Covid-19, sent out this morning.
Literally 20 minutes after this was sent, England Squash upgraded the possibilities for play to include the following for those who will be in Tier 3 which includes Kent.
1. Courts can be booked for solo practice.
2. Courts can be booked to allow playing a normal game with a member of your household or your support bubble. A support bubble is different from a squash bubble and only includes an adult who lives by themselves (or with children under 18 and no other adults), who has aligned themselves with your household.
No normal games between club members are allowed.
In these 2 circumstances, we will allow you to enter the club with your fobs and use the courts from Wednesday 2nd December.
Please book and pay for the courts in the normal way before you play.
Also, please make sure you hand sanitise on entering the club and sanitise the court you have just made use of at the end of your court time. Leave the club promptly after coming off court.
The changing rooms remain closed as does the bar.
There is a level of trust which we are giving members and we do ask that you abide by these conditions. If the club is found to be contravening these, we are liable to be reported and fined.
Thank you again for your understanding and the sooner we can get the infections down the sooner we can resume some normality.
