Good morning
I trust you are all fit and well.
Subject to ensuring we can follow the necessary government social distancing measures we are planning to re-open the club on Saturday 4th July. We are planning a 'Family Barbeque/Fun Day on this day.
This cannot come too soon, as we have only just managed to keep the club solvent over the past three months and it will be a challenge to get the club back to some kind of normal. It will rely on all members to actively support and participate.
The first task is to get ready to OPEN, Tobie and Steve have done a magnificent job in re-vitalizing the bar area, decorating, and upgrading the bar furniture, it is an amazing transformation. Massive thanks to Tobie and Steve.
We now need to 'tidy up the exterior of the club', as we are looking very shabby.
We need you to come along this Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th from 8 am and HELP tidy up. (If you have time during the week you will be more than welcomed and allocated a task).
You will need to wear the necessary protective clothing to ensure you are working safely.
We are putting together a TO DO LIST, which I will email shortly.
We have members with expertise and experience in practical areas, so please volunteer your 'professional service' or advice.
Let me, Tobie, Steve or Martin what you can do and look forward to seeing you at the club this weekend.
