INCOME
We are budgeting Bar Sales of £90,000 next financial year with a gross profit of 55% £49500
Our wages cost are 40% of sales £36000
Bar contribution to overheads for next financial year £13500
Facilities Hire £9,000

EXPENSES
We spend over £8,000 each year on keeping the ground and equipment in good order and are budgeting to spend £13000 next year as we need to replace machinery.
We allocate £10,000 per year for general building repairs and renewals.
We need at least £26,000 per year to cover our fixed cost. (Cleaning, Rent & Rates, Accountancy, Insurance, Light & Heating).
Sky and BT Sports cost £4000 per year.

FUND RAISING & INCREASE REVENUE
Our trading income does not cover our expenses, we need to raise at least £30,000 per year to ensure we keep the buildings and ground to an acceptable standard.

HOW DO WE DO THAT?
Boot Fairs, Family Fun days, raise the subscriptions, increase the usage of the club, monthly social events, marketing, Provide a regular food offer, Encourage non-members to use the Bar, Ground share for Football and Cricket, Offer free social membership to the Tennis Clubs and Yacht Club, Sponsorship, Grants, Donations,

Upgrade Bar, dance area and Furniture £10,000
Upgrade Car Park £10,000
Upgrade Signage and the Front of the building £8000
New Mower £10,000
Move the Kitchen to the Storeroom (it needs external extraction) £15,000

FUTURE THOUGHTS and IDEAS
Rebranding the Club to The Grove
Additional Squash Courts, becoming multi-use – Table Tennis, Yoga, Circuits,
Develop an event space to become a serious entertainments venue catering for at least 120 people.
Multisports 4G facility all weather
Padel Tennis Courts.
Café on the Canal – developing our catering offer.
