Good morning
A fantastic effort from Phil Porter, Darrel Moyle, Dave Hall, Ken Pollock,
Fraser and Cathee Spalding, Mel Booth, Tony Wilkins, Chris and Nikki Clark,
Richard Welch, Andrew Butler, Finlay Clegg, Tobie Davies, Andy Boorman, and Pat Briscoe.
Please pat them on the back when you see these guys at the club.
We raised £1950 despite an opposing Boot Fair and a little bit of resistance to our increased prices! We all did a great job in maintaining customer relations and goodwill.
We have decided to revert to the previous pricing for our next one on JULY 10th to maintain community relations and compete with an opposing Boot Fair on the Green on the same day again.
We will 'up our game' on the promotion, endeavour to improve the refreshment offer and sell the tea/coffees ourselves.
We will also run a CLUB BOOT with members donating goodies, plus 'stuff' from our storeroom, garage, changing rooms, and old bar furniture. So start looking now and bring it down to the club the week before JULY 10th.
We will need more members to share the workload; we want to raise over £3000, so now mark it in your diary. It is an entertaining morning.
