Club UPDATE
We have two football teams playing on a Sunday – looking to have a third team playing next season. Led by Andy Boorman.
We have Saturday, Sunday, and Monday Night Cricket teams. In addition, in the coming season, we are participating in a midweek 20/20 league this season. Led by Will Clayton, assisted by Pat Briscoe.
We have over fifty Junior Cricketers with teams under 15, 13, and 11s, plus a ladies' team. Led by Martin Cobb and Rachel Gainsford
We have 120 Racket members and 20 Juniors members, ten squash and six racketball internal leagues, three Kent League squash teams and two Racketball teams. We recently did a trial Mixed Ability Team Squash match (MATS) at Rodmersham, to great success and holding our first evening next week. Hosted two Professional Squash Tournaments. Led by Glenn Mousley and Gary Hollamby.
We hold ten weekly Pilates classes and two evening sessions for the running club.
The Shed Foundation (which supports Adults with Learning Difficulties) now use our premises Monday to Friday.
We have three new committee members Tom Locke, Steve Egglestone, and James Pope.
Club, committee members, and volunteers do thousands of hours to support the club and our activities.
Total membership now is just over 300 members - We have had 56 new members since June 2022. Jayne Wilkins has been Membership Secretary for over 12 months; she performs an amazing job.
Thanks to Pete Stanton, our current treasurer, performing a near miracle in managing our finance for the past three years.
We are continually indebted to Steve Davies – who continues to sort out the building maintenance plus even more.
Rachel Gainsford – Safeguarding lead plus lots more – the club would struggle to function without her.
Clare Daniels works efficiently as our email monitor.
Tobie Davies does an amazing job keeping the club running smoothly. However, it has been a challenging year for recruiting bar staff, and likely not to improve. External parties are crucial for our bar revenue to ensure we continue with our current opening hours. Our current bar opening hours (excluding parties and events) are 40 hours per week, 2080 hours per annum.

Charity Day – We raised £8000 for Cancer Research – An amazing achievement.
