It may have been a cold and wet winter so far, but that hasn't stopped the Cricket Committee preparing for a big, bumper summer of cricketing delights.
The Saturday team has 21 games already scheduled, starting with "friendly" games against local rivals Hythe Green, Saltwood and Folkestone 3s. The Sunday side has a further 21 league and friendly matches as well. Plus there's 11 games for the Social Monday nighters; we are putting the finishing touches to the new Hythe T20 Smash league and organising Hythe Cricket Week in mid July.... Also there'll be a full schedule of Junior League and friendly games, and regular Sunday morning training for girls and boys to fit in.
It's certainly going to be an action packed summer of cricket down at The Grove in 2023. Your support for the games would be much appreciated. Let's hope for another summer scorcher!
