Dear Vice President,
I hope all is well with you during these trying times?
I am writing to you now to give you an update for the situation of the Club.
Previously you would have received a fixture card and membership form from me, however as you are well aware these are not normal times!
The Covid-19 pandemic has caused the club to Curtail all activities; cricket, squash, racket ball, golf society, boot fairs (which provided a great part of our income), wedding receptions and all other social activities and most of all no bar funds.
This has severely impacted on the clubs finances and unfortunately there are still ongoing expenses which have to be met.
Although things have eased with squash and cricket restarting and the bar has re-opened for the time being, the Club is desperately trying to raise money for basic running costs.
We are therefore appealing to all members to support the Club in any way you can either by donations or by having a drink at the bar.
This is your Club; please support it.
