You may have been involved in ongoing discussions about promoting our club more effectively, and changing our name and logo in order to do so.
Having researched the likely cost and community impact of changing our name, The Club Committee have agreed that the potential negative impact of a change currently outweighs any benefit, so discussion on a name change is now closed. We remain Hythe Cricket & Squash Club, as registered with the Charity Commission.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the 'name change' conversations.
However, signage across the club needs updating as part of a new marketing plan, and our main club logo (fabulous in its time) is not inclusive nor fit for digital use. We currently have 4 very different logos in use across the club.
Our logo(s) should make a statement about our club, and be something we all identify with and are proud of, so we'd like your opinion to guide the design of a new club logo.

We'll use your survey responses to create guidelines for the design of a new logo, and later invite your opinions on a shortlist of options. The aim is to introduce the new logo and install new signage in Jan 2024. We are currently seeking grant funding to cover the not inconsiderable cost of new signage across the club.
