CHANGE TO PREPAY CASHLESS SYSTEM FOR COURT BOOKINGS FROM 1ST oCTOBER
For some time we have suffered from the inconsistency of the coin machines that are currently used to pay for Squash/Racketball Courts.
For court bookings from 1st October (bookings open on 17th September), it has been decided that we should change this to a prepay system where you put a credit on the mycourts system and this is used to pay for the courts that you book.
The cost will be the same at £ 6.00 per 45 minute session which is paid from the credit which all players will have to set up (minimum £ 30.00) on the mycourts system. To purchase credit, press the "Buy Credit" tab on the mycourts menu. This will then take you through the procedure to establish credit to purchase court time.
Instead of putting coins into the light machines to turn the lights on, there will be a motion sensor which will automatically activate the lights as someone steps onto the court.
If an opponent is put on a court booking the person will be invited to transfer £ 3.00 to the bookers account.
When you arrive at the club and go on court, the lights will automatically come on with a motion sensor. They will turn off, soon after leaving the court.
We rely on the honesty of players to only play on courts they have booked and paid for. Currently, due to Covid-19, all courts have to be pre-booked. If you see a vacant court you wish to use even at short notice, we ask you to book this online before playing.
