Dear Members
Following the government announcement last week regarding and a briefing from England Squash, the Squash & Racketball Committee met last night. We decided that we will be re-opening the courts for playing Squash and Racketball as from Saturday 25th July 2020.
There will be various conditions attached to the use of the courts and a document to cover this is currently being prepared.
This will be with you no later than Thursday 23rd July.
The main principle is for all those playing to adopt a common sense approach and to consider the safety of all players.
There will also be posters issued by England Squash that will be appearing at the club which will give you the detail on Ways to Play, Play Safe, Stay Safe and staying Covid-19 secure in 2020.
We hope you will agree this is a step in the right direction and if we follow the rules set, there will be further relaxations to follow.
